Villa Maria Tayrona

Villa Maria Tayrona is a real wild jungle location. The owners bought the 45-acre property in 2003 and took 10 years to develop into the hotel from the jungle, trying to preserve as much as possible of the original 200 year old colonial house. Located just outside Tayrona National Park, its beach and trails boast the same quality as the beaches and trails in the park – without the crowds. A visit to the Kogi Indians village of Orinoco, the waterfall of Quebrada Valencia, tubing and trek along Rio Don Diego are just a few of the featured activities.
