The Pig – on the Beach is a mould-breaking boutique hotel overlooking the gorgeous curve of Studland Bay in Dorset. Set on cliffs across the water from Poole and Sandbanks, it perches alongside the National Trust-managed coastal path in a picturesque coun

Harry’s Hut
Harry’s Hut

A two night minimum stay is required at weekends. Set away from the manor beyond the kitchen garden, this quirky pair of metal cabins are luxuriously kitted out but with enough gypsy charm to offer a romantic ‘glamping’ experience. Forming an L-shape around a little wood-decked patio with steamer chairs, the little huts are furnished with vintage pieces: in one, there’s a log-burner, double bed, small flatscreen TV, retro Roberts digital radio, larder (aka minibar) of local produce, Nespresso coffee machine and tea-making kit, and cosy bathrobes; in the other, there’s a Victorian-style roll-top bath, hand-held shower fixture, and marble sink. Note that the two huts are not directly connected, so you will have to physically leave one to get into the other; this means (fun, brief) al fresco forays to use the bathroom.
