The Peacock at Rowsley

The Peacock at Rowsley might have once been a dower house of Haddon Hall, one of Derbyshire's finest statelies, but now that there are contemporary black furry rugs next to the grand four-poster and antique wardrobe, and leaded window panes and ancestral portraits in the stairwell, there's no mistaking it's now a great little boutique hotel.

The Peacock at Rowsley is a boutique hotel in the Peak District. A 17th-century manor house on the banks of the River Derwent, it's surrounded by rolling, heather-capped hills and charming Derbyshire villages.

Located at the side of the hotel, these rooms have a fireplace and an ensuite with a walk-in shower.

These rooms have either double, and a shower only or bath and shower in the ensuite. Some have a fireplace or view of the garden.

The antique-filled suite has a super-king-size bed and a separate living room with a double sofa bed; the marble-clad ensuite bathroom has a walk-in shower and a bath tub. The suite can sleep up to two adults and three children, with an additional charge of £50 per child. You’ll have views of a quiet country lane and two Smart TVs.
