Beyond the plain, lies the Luangwa River – one of the best game viewing areas in the magical South Luangwa National Park. This is indeed the premier park in Zambia and one of the best national parks in Africa.

The Sunset House at Kafunta River Lodge delivers a unique and unforgettable experience for family holidays being a 3-bedroom canvas-roofed safari house with a private pool and private services (butter, chef, safari guide) providing complete flexibility. The unit is split into a two-bedroom tent with a large dining area and outdoor lounge. Each bedroom is en-suite and completed with a sitting area. The second tent is adjacent to the central unit and features the third en-suite bedroom with a sitting area. The villa has spacious multi-level decks, an infinity pool, lounging chairs, and a fireplace.

It is perfect for a multi-generation family or a group of friends travelling together and seeking more privacy. The view towards the floodplains of the Luangwa is magnificent.
