Formentera, the Balearics’ smallest island, doesn’t loudly announce its lures – a low profile is how they’ve kept their Indian Ocean-rivalling shoreline pristine; that and an easy sustainable way of life. But, a snag in their plan is building dreamy waterside dens like Gecko Hotel & Beach Club, whose throwback-Riviera style, wholehearted approach to wellness (they even have a house yogi) and hit-the-jackpot location by beloved Migjorn Beach couldn’t fail to get tongues wagging.
