Set on former farmland on the exclusic north side of the island, Modernist villa Can Carmen stands out for its striking lines and spacious lawned garden, which is centered around a 12-metre pool set into a terrace of pale stone. The open plan living and dining area – which has a table seating eight – is flanked by retractable walls on both sides, allowing the entire room to be opened up to the covered terrace, sun deck and garden. There’s also a fully equipped kitchen with a breakfast table with seating for four. Ranged across both floors, the four bedrooms each have a king-size bed (one can be twinned on request); two have ensuite bathrooms, the other two share a bathroom. The spacious master bedroom also has a walk-in wardrobe, a bath tub and a garden-facing terrace. At the far end of the pool, there’s a wooden pergola with a sleek outdoor kitchen, an alfresco dining area and an outdoor lounge. The villa also has WiFi, air-conditioning, a portable Bluetooth speaker, a sandpit for kids, a charcoal barbecue, a laundry room and parking for seven cars.
