City, Wine and Safari in South Africa

Cape Town is not only one of the most beautiful cities in the world, it’s also a melting pot of South Africa’s many cultures and home to an incredible culinary scene, along with its neighbouring Cape Winelands. We pair this with two malaria-free safari experiences, first Madikwe Game Reserve and the Waterberg of Limpopo. These reserves are perfect if you’re sensitive to medication or travelling with a family (and are a lesser-known way to beat the safari crowds).

Trip Highlights
Incredible landscapes in the Waterberg
Malaria-free 'big 5' safari
The incredible produce of the winelands
Vibrant and colourful Cape Town
When To Go
All Year
Ideal Length
10 days+, removing the Waterberg is the best way to keep this trip at 9 nights

All the things you’re dying to ask but haven’t

In Cape Town you'll be immersed in the foodie scene, from fresh seafood to Cape Malay curries, you'll be well-fuelled for a hike in Table Mountain National Park, or a historic exploration of Robben Island. Then head to the pristine Waterberg and enjoy tranquil bush walks and boat trips, or head to Madikwe Game Reserve for the classic 'big 5', see if you can spot the famous wild dogs.

"Cape Town is hands down my favourite city in the world, I just love the variety that is on offer and the opportunity to get beneath the surface of the city."
