There’s a kind of magic to Peru – a pull you can’t quite define. Mist-shrouded rainforests cradle ancient citadels, Cusco’s narrow streets echo with footsteps past colonial churches and condors wheel high above the canyons of the Colca Valley. Every turn brings a new tempo, from highland villages to hidden trails.

Our perfect route
Everything we offer is fully bespoke; the itinerary below is an example of what our experts can create with you.
Lima
Built along cliffs above the Pacific, this is a city that eats exceptionally well. Colonial bones sit alongside sharp modern architecture, with neighbourhoods defined by restaurants, galleries and late nights. Lima is confident and outward-looking – a place to linger, not just pass through.
Sacred Valley
Altitude softens here. Rivers cut through farmland, villages feel purposeful rather than performative, and Inca engineering still shapes daily life. Walking routes, market towns and ruins like Ollantaytambo create a rhythm built for being outside rather than ticking off sights.
Machu Picchu
The setting does most of the work. Terraces spill down steep escarpments, cloud drifts in and out, and the scale reveals itself gradually as you move through the site. It’s dramatic, precise and surprisingly quiet in moments – a place that holds attention long after you leave.
Cusco
Cusco balances past and present without smoothing the edges. Inca stonework meets colonial facades, markets spill into side streets and the city feels active rather than preserved. It’s a characterful base for acclimatising before heading deeper into the Andes.
Lake Titicaca, Peru
Thin air, wide water and a strong sense of continuity. Life around the lake moves slowly – farming, fishing and boat journeys between small communities. Days are spent walking, watching and adjusting to the altitude, with clear nights that make the sky feel unusually close.
Arequipa
White stone, volcanic backdrops and a calm, ordered feel set this city apart. Food is taken seriously, streets are made for wandering, and the surrounding landscape invites movement. From here, the shift into canyon country feels natural – a city that opens outward rather than in.
Two weeks in Peru starts at £5,000 per person (excl. international flights).

When to go
Jan - Mar
Rainy season in the Andes and Amazon ending around March, summer on the coast. La Candeleria festival on the shores of Lake Titicaca is in February. The Inca trail is closed for the whole of February but Machu Picchu remains open, and we recommend avoiding the area in Jan and Feb due to heavy rainfall.
Apr - Sep
Dry season and best time to travel in the Andes, lower water in the Amazon. The country is at its busiest Jun - August. Inti Raymi festival is on 24th June and Lima's Mistura food festivcal is in September. This is the best time to visit Machu Picchu & Cusco, Lake Titicaca and to spot condors in the Colca Canyon.
Oct - Dec
Increased temperatures and rainfall in the Amazon and mists on the coast.
