Cap Rocat

Make love not war at Cap Rocat’s former military fort, hidden on a cliff in a peaceful pocket of Palma bay. More heritage site than hotel, the fort’s defensive paraphernalia (drawbridge, bunkers, trenches) provide a dramatic setting for pared-down boutique bedrooms, a dazzling infinity pool and two tempting restaurants.

These rooms, located along the fortress’ exterior walls, offer guests the chance to experience sleeping in former military quarters. Measuring 20–35sq m, each has a king-size bed and views of the fortress.

Suite Cap Rocat

These 60–80sq m suites are set in former shooting pads, overlooking the bay of Palma. Each has a ground-floor bedroom with a king-size bed, a stone bathroom and a private patio. The terrace on the first floor has views out to sea.

Suite del Mar

This 35sqm suite sits exclusively aside from the hotel’s other rooms, just steps away from the private beach. The Suite is surrounded by a fragrant herbal garden and has its own private pool, and terraces overlooking the bay of Palma. The suite has a sitting room, a bedroom with a four-poster bed and a wooden-beam-lined ceiling, and large bathrooms with separate bath tubs and showers. Guests can also enjoy a private furnished garden with sunloungers and a swimming pool. This suite comes with the hotel’s signature breakfast, a daily newspaper of your choice, mineral water and free WiFi. An extra bed can be added to this room for €198.

Suite El Cabo

This 100sq m suite has a king-size bed, a gazebo and a private swimming pool. The suite is decorated with original artwork and has spacious gardens. The three private tiered terraces come with sea views (the pool doesn't share these views, as it is positioned beneath the terraces).

Sentinels

These three rooms (40–55sq m) are hidden in the cape’s cliffs. Formerly lookout stations for the entrance to Palma Bay, these hideaways have been spruced up and refined with wooden finishes and Mediterranean fabrics. Each has a terrace with an infinity plunge pool overlooking the bay, and there are sparkling-blue views from the king-size bed. The bathroom has a separate bath tub and shower, and rooms have a flatscreen TV, coffee-maker, WiFi, minibar, air-conditioning and locally made bath products.
