All the things you’re dying to ask but haven’t
This trip is perfect for all safari-goers. For first-timers, you throw yourself in with a triple destination trip that will not leave you wanting. For the more experienced, each destination is unique and offers different activities, so you can experience alternative safaris as well as the usual game drives. Get ready to lose yourself in the African bush.
Ideally, you want three nights in each safari destination. This means you can enjoy all the activities on offer. As always, we can tailor things to you. We’ve had guests get the full experience on two nights in each location, and others that have added on a few nights to enjoy the beach. Get in touch with a Nemo Travel Nerd, we’d love to talk it through with you.

Top tip: shoulder season is the one (March and November). You might get a shower here and there but the wildlife is still there in abundance.

Weather watch: heavy rains in April and May make things fairly inaccessible. Expect short rains in November / early December. All year, pack a fleece for the chilly mornings and evenings.
A few more tips...
- Take some time to relax and get into the African rhythm.
- Enjoy a bush walk to clear jet lag and get your bearings.
- Get your camera out for the Kilimanjaro views.
- Get stuck in the local culture and ask lots of questions.
- Pack some good binoculars - a safari must-have.
- Choose a walking safari for a ground-level bush experience.
- It is not just about the river crossings, this region is amazing all year round.
- Local villages can be very touristy.
- Safari’s are a great social experience, so don’t assume you need a private guide.
