On touching down in Entebbe for the start of this epic trip, you'll be met by one of our wonderful partners, helped through baggage claim and then transferred to your hotel in the city (usually about 20 minutes by private road transfer).

This morning, after a leisurely breakfast, you will be taken to Entebbe Airport in time for your flight to Pakuba in Murchison Falls (one hour), where you'll be met by your guide and transferred to your lodge. There's also the option to drive.. discuss this with your Travel Expert.

Not only does Murchison Falls National Park encompass a variety of beautiful landscapes, it's also home to an abundance of wildlife. There are various large mammals to be sighted such as lions, elephants, giraffes and leopards.

After a wonderful few days exploring the Nile and Murchison Falls National Park, you'll be transferred back to the airstrip in time for your flight to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest (an hour and fifteen). On landing, you'll be met by your guide and transferred to your lodge.
Bwindi Impenetrable Forest
Gorilla trekking is the big drawer to the region, and for good reason. This is the best value place to see mountain gorillas on the planet and there really is no experience like it. The lodges are all eco-friendly and boast stunning views over the Virunga range. Domestic flights are the best way to get here and road is also an option for the more adventurous.

Today, with many a gorilla trekking experience under your belt, you'll hop on a plane back to Entebbe, have lunch on Lake Victoria or elsewhere in the city, and then make your way back to the airport in time for your flight home. If you're not ready to finish your trip here, just let us know and we can organise a beautiful finale at Jinja, on the Nile, or perhaps on the beach in Zanzibar!
