On arrival, you will be met through immigration by our local representatives and introduced to your driver. It's then a scenic 3.5 hour drive to your beautiful first hotel. We can always add a night in Colombo at the beginning if your flight gets in late.
North Kandy
Home to the 'Temple of the Tooth', Kandy is a bustling city surrounded by misty hills in the center of the island. A convenient place to stop for a night or two, there are some great boutique hotel and local experiences to enjoy. We recommend sightseeing with your chauffeur guide (included) and sampling the local delicacies on a food tour.
Santani

Time to head to the wilds of Gal Oya National Park. You will be collected for the 3.5 hour journey, stopping off to enjoy a nice local lunch en route if you wish.
Gal Oya National Park
Remote, untouched wilderness with some fantastic scenery to explore. Here you can expect to see few other tourists as you go boating on the lake, walk through remote villages, and try to spot Elephants swimming between the islands. There's one place to stay here, Gal Oya Lodge, best included between the hills and South coast.

The beach is calling. Depending on the hotel you choose, you will be transferred 3-5 hours up to the East Coast and your relaxing beach hotel for the next few nights.
East Coast Sri Lanka
Seafood curries and white sandy beaches characterise this stretch of coastline. The perfect spot to end a trip or add whenever you want some relaxation, we've selected a range of hotels for you to choose from. It's best visited from May to September, and if included at the end of an itinerary we will include a domestic flight back to Colombo.
Jungle Beach
4 nights
You will be collected this morning for the 2.5 hour drive into the cultural heart of Sri Lanka and your next hotel.
Cultural Triangle
As the name suggests, you will find many of the ancient cultural highlights of the island in this area, including Sigiriya Rock Fortress, the Dambulla Caves, and Anuradhapura. There are some excellent hotels to enjoy and all sorts of activities, from hiking to spotting elephants in national parks. If you are into your history and culture, it's not to be missed.
Ulagalla
4 nights
Your final long drive takes you back towards Colombo, a journey of 3 hours. Make sure to grab any spices or last minute shopping en route!
Negombo
Although there are some good beaches and great hotels in the area, Negombo is often used as an entry or exit point due to its proximity to the airport. It's also a good option if you prefer to have a more leisurely start or end to your itinerary.

Time to head home. You will be transferred the short distance to the airport in good time for your international flight. Bye for now!
