On arrival, you will be met through immigration by our local representatives and introduced to your driver. It's then a 4.5-hour drive to the Cultural Triangle, stopping wherever you like and passing some beautiful scenery en route.
Cultural Triangle
As the name suggests, you will find many of the ancient cultural highlights of the island in this area, including Sigiriya Rock Fortress, the Dambulla Caves, and Anuradhapura. There are some excellent hotels to enjoy and all sorts of activities, from hiking to spotting elephants in national parks. If you are into your history and culture, it's not to be missed.

Time to head south as you are transferred 2.5 hours to the historic town of Kandy.
Kandy
Home to the 'Temple of the Tooth', Kandy is a bustling city surrounded by misty hills in the center of the island. A convenient place to stop for a night or two, there are some great boutique hotel and local experiences to enjoy. We recommend sightseeing with your chauffeur guide (included) and sampling the local delicacies on a food tour.

Time to experience one of the most scenic train rides in Asia. You will be dropped at the train station to take the toy train through the winding tea country of Sri Lanka. At the other end, you will be collected and transferred to your next hotel.
Tea Country & Ella
Home to Sri Lanka's most famous export - tea. The rolling tea fields are simply stunning and in our opinion, not to be missed. Best visited by a wonderful train ride that winds its way through the hills, it's a great place to spend two or three nights wandering the plantations and soaking up the area's beautiful scenery.
Camellia Hills
3 nights
A longer transfer takes you down to the wilds of Yala National Park. This drive will take 5-6 hours, and you can stop for lunch en route.
Yala National Park
The best place in Sri Lanka for leopard sightings, Yala is the most popular national park in the country - with a wide selection of hotels and a huge area to be explored on your game drives. Here you can also regularly see elephants, sloth bears, and a huge variety of birdlife. We recommend two nights and to visit Yala between the hills and the South Coast.
Jetwing Yala

From Yala head along the coast to the beautiful town of Galle. This transfer will take around 2.5 hours.
Galle
A Unesco World Heritage Site, this beautiful colonial town is a lovely stop for anyone visiting Sri Lanka's South Coast. Walk the ramparts at sunset, shop in one of the many boutiques, and enjoy a cocktail in one of the stylish bars and restaurants. There are some lovely boutique hotels to enjoy and plenty of activities to keep you busy for a few nights.
Fort Bazaar
2 nights
A two-hour transfer will take you to Colombo Airport for your international flight to Male in the Maldives. Please note this flight is not included in the price at the moment. Depending on your hotel, you will then take a seaplane or speedboat to your lovely final stop.
The Maldives
A country of unparalleled natural beauty, island escapes doesn't get much better than this. Days here are spent diving or snorkelling, wondering perfect white sandy beaches, and switching off from the world.
