Namibia is the ultimate sub-Saharan adventure – vast, cinematic and otherworldly. Rust-red dunes rise from Sossusvlei and wind-carved valleys cut through Damaraland, where desert elephants roam and the light shifts by the hour. Firelight flickers against canvas walls and the stars feel impossibly close.

Our perfect route
Everything we offer is fully bespoke; the itinerary below is an example of what our experts can create with you.
Windhoek
Calm and orderly, Windhoek sets an easy rhythm. Leafy streets, good food and a low-key social scene make it a comfortable pause, with galleries, cafés and nearby reserves offering a first sense of Namibia. It’s a gentle place to acclimatise before heading deeper into the country.
Sossusvlei
This is desert drama at full volume. Towering dunes, blinding light and surreal salt pans create some of the country’s most arresting scenes. Walking into Deadvlei at first light or climbing a dune as shadows stretch is as memorable as landscapes get.
Swakopmund
A strange and compelling collision of coast and desert. Cool Atlantic air, German heritage and a wide range of outdoor pursuits give the town its character. It’s a place to reset after the heat – walking, eating well and watching fog roll in from the sea.
Damaraland
Raw, ancient and sparsely populated. Volcanic plains, rock formations and open space define the landscape, with desert-adapted wildlife moving through quietly. Days here are about scale and silence, with a sense of history that feels embedded in the land rather than explained.
Etosha
Waterholes do the work. Wildlife gathers predictably, often in large numbers, creating a safari experience that’s visual and absorbing rather than chase-driven. The flat, open terrain makes sightings easy to follow, with long pauses watching animals come and go on their own terms.
Central Highlands
Rolling hills and wide valleys offer a gentler counterpoint to Namibia’s extremes. Farms and small lodges sit comfortably within the landscape, with walking, wildlife and long views shaping the days. It’s restorative and unshowy – a natural pause between bigger, bolder regions.
Two weeks in Namibia starts at £6,000 per person (excl. international flights).

Sept - Oct
Temperatures rise and it can be very hot and dusty, but the end of a long dry season signals an excellent time for game viewing.
Nov - Mar
