Why we love it

“Ever heard of a carbon-positive country? Welcome to Bhutan, where protected forest makes up 70% of the landmass. This incredible Himalayan kingdom has remained unchanged for centuries, cut off from the world to protect its culture. Combine this experience with the hustle and bustle of Kathmandu, and you’ve got one incredible nemo adventure. You'll share morning prayers at a local monastery, drink tea in the historic corners of Thamel, trek through the deep forest, and immerse yourself in the local experience of Buddhist culture. Who knows, maybe you’ll even discover a new part of yourself.”

Chitwan

One of the best places to spot one-horned Black Rhino in the wild, the forests of Chitwan National Park cover an of more than 932 sq km. As one of the most popular parks in Nepal, it can be busy, but we've handpicked lodges who take their wildlife seriously and will provide the best experience. Here you can also see deer, monkeys and more than 500 species of birds.

Pokhara

A location that ticks all the boxes, Pokhara is a beautiful little town and the gateway to some incredible Himalayan trekking. Delhi

Lots of people simply disregard Delhi, but we would recommend spending a few days embracing the chaos of India's capital. Spend time enjoying the contrasts of Old and New Delhi, the impressive architecture, markets, and a whole host of unique activities we've collated. Delhi also makes sense logistically for any international and domestic flights.

Agra

Home to the greatest testament to love - The Taj Mahal. We would generally recommend just one night in Agra to see the Taj, Agra Fort, and to maybe enjoy a morning yoga class in front of the world-famous monument. Agra is best reached by train from Delhi and by road to Ranthambhore and Jaipur.

Jaipur

The famed Pink City of Jaipur is bursting with colour, culture, and life. Considered to be the gateway to Rajasthan, it's a wonderful place to spend three nights exploring the City Palace, Amber Fort, beautiful markets and take part in some unique activities. Simply not to be missed if you are in the area.

Mumbai

The sprawling metropolis of Mumbai is home to India's film industries, some of Asia's biggest slums, and lots and lots of people! It's also fast becoming a cultural hub of galleries, trendy restaurants, bars, and excellent hotels. Logistically it makes sense to start or end a trip in Bombay, and 2 or 3 nights is usually about right.

Goa

Beaches, yoga, seafood, parties, surfing. What's not to love about Goa? We've handpicked some beautiful hotels for you to choose from and would usually recommend Goa at the end of a trip. It would usually involve a domestic flight from your last location to reach the coast.

A stunning hike into the foothills of the Annapurna region of the Himalayas, featuring some of the best scenery (in our opinion) in the world.
