Our perfect route
Everything we offer is fully bespoke; the itinerary below is an example of what our experts can create with you.
San José + Central Valley
This is Costa Rica in the everyday. San José brings markets, museums and a food scene worth paying attention to, while the surrounding Central Valley opens out into coffee country, rivers and volcanoes. It’s energetic, varied and a good place to understand how the country actually lives.
Monteverde
Mist, height and dense green in every direction. Trails wind through cloud forest where birds, monkeys and rare plant life appear without warning, and the air feels cooler and charged. It’s absorbing and atmospheric – detail builds slowly and the landscape keeps your attention.
Isla Jesuita
Small and low-key, this island is about clarity and calm. Water is clear enough to see reef life from the shore, snorkelling and diving stay close, and beaches feel deliberately untouched. Days fall into a simple rhythm – swimming, drifting, shade, then back into the water.
Costa Ballena
This stretch of coast feels expansive rather than polished. Long beaches run uninterrupted, rainforest presses close, and wildlife turns up when it wants to. Surf towns stay understated, food is unfussy and good, and days are shaped by tides, heat and light rather than plans.
Osa Peninsula
Wild, humid and richly alive. Rainforest pushes straight to the sea, mangroves twist inland, and wildlife encounters feel frequent and unpolished. Surf breaks, boat trips and forest walks all carry a sense of scale and remoteness that’s hard to match elsewhere in the country.
Two weeks in Costa Rica starts at £4,000 per person (excl. international flights).

Your budget
We know it's tricky to pin down a number early on. We’ll walk you through all the details so you can make informed choices from the start.
A bespoke quote
Your quote is broken down into hotels, activities and logistics – we earn through supplier commissions, not markups. Prefer USD? Just ask.
Special offers
We always look for promotions and added value. Thanks to close hotel relationships, you’ll be first in line for upgrades, bonuses and seasonal perks.
At your pace
Lock in what matters early, tweak the rest later. We’ll guide the timeline, but keep things flexible – no pressure to have it all figured out.
When to go
Dec - April
High season - the country is at its driest and busiest.
May & Nov
The green season - don't let the chance of rain put you off! This is our favourite time to travel due to lush landscapes, amazing wildlife, and lower hotel rates.
Jun - Aug
Rainy season - you can expect rain most days but enjoy pockets of sunshine in Guanacaste & Puerto Viejo.
Sep - Oct
Rainy season - we don't recommend travel due to heavy rainfall and floods.
