A sunset river cruise along the Arno is not to be missed and best access is by train, air or self-driving.

Today you meet a private driver and are transferred to Porto Ercolo, around 2.5hrs from Florence. Here you board a ferry to the breathtaking Giglio Island (c. 45 mins). On arrival, meet the hotel rep at the port and walk to the hotel.
Tuscan Coast
Better known for its produce (truffles, wine, traditional feasts), some are surprised when we tell them about Tuscany's incredible coastline. 230km of beautiful landscape awaits, it's where the locals hang out in the summer. Giglio Island sits just off this coastline, perfect for travellers seeking a real chill, it's a super slow, laid-back island with no cars and lots of locals (not many people speak English here). Ask the team for their tips if you're looking to head to Giglio!
La Guardia - 5 nights

Today you head back to the port and take the ferry to Porto Ercole. Here you meet a taxi driver and you are transferred to either Rome or Pisa airport, both 2.5 hours.
