The Lamego is located in a slightly different spot to our other Douro Valley offerings. You've still got beautiful views of vines, but it's not directly on the banks of the Douro River. The real benefit of this comes in the cost, as rooms are reasonably priced allowing you to save your pennies for the real reason you're in Douro; the food and wine. The hotel has a lovely laid back vibe, with a large, heated outdoor swimming pool overlooking the valley vistas. The restaurant serves up delicious & fresh local produce, together with their own wine of course.
