Governor’s Camp was one of the very first safari camps in the Mara and so got the pick of locations, it's a real institution in Kenya. The property is on the larger side but the friendly staff and layout of the lodge create an intimate feel. This camp really is about location - it’s right on the Mara River and in one of the most high-octane game viewing areas in Africa. One word of warning, in high season it can feel pretty busy in this region.
