Tarangire National Park
Big trees, big game and big landscapes - this is a really special safari destination and works perfectly as your first taste of the Tanzanian Northern Circuit. It can be done in two nights and is worth noting that the game viewing can be hard from November-April due to rains, it is, however, much quieter which is a real perk.

Southern Serengeti
These southern plains are full of wildebeest and zebra from December through to March, as they settle on their migratory journey for a few months. With this comes vast numbers of predators and an action packed safari experience. We recommend at least 3 nights and you can fly in by light aircraft or drive from the Ngorongoro.

Northern Serengeti
Distinctively different to the Southern and Central plains of Africa's best known National Park. Rocky outcrops mark this area and the lodges take advantage of this with wonderful views. In July and October, this is the place to be for wildebeest river crossings and access is always by light aircraft.

Selous Game Reserve
Africa's largest game reserve has a wide variety of safari activities available and is a real hidden gem. From boat safaris to walking and game drives, you will not be left wanting. The reserve connects very well to Zanzibar and Ruaha National Park with light aircraft flights.

Zanzibar II
White sandy beaches, energetic Stone Town and a rich history - this island has it all. The ideal stay would be around 5 nights and take in a bit of everything from rooftop lunches in the old town to private dhow cruises at sunset. The airport connect well with Tanzania's safari circuit and Nairobi, as well as the Middle East.

Mount Meru
One for the adventurers! This hike heads to the summit of Mt Meru, the third highest peak in Tanzania, through verdant afromontane forest into high altitude alpine desert with unparalleled views of a dormant volcano.

Dar es Salaam
Discover the captivating essence of Dar es Salaam as you wander through its bustling streets, where the gentle lull of the Indian Ocean and the tantalising aroma of Zanzibari spices create a vibrant sensory experience. Get lost in the vibrant maze of the Kariakoo Market, where the lively rhythms of Swahili melodies blend harmoniously with the energetic atmosphere of passionate traders. It's an enigmatic blend of big, modern city buzz with Zanzibari tradition.
